November 2021

Yesterday, Rick, Pat & I met for our November associate meeting.(10:30-1130)

Pat began the meeting with a meaningful prayer dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption

The readings for the Christ the King liturgy were read, followed by Rick’s

Commentaries. Our mutual sharing centered on Kingdom & Truth.

I then summarized the retreat time spent in Lowell. (since Pat & Rick did not attend).

The meeting concluded with a Marian prayer.

Our December meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 9th.

October 2021

Pat began with an opening prayer.  We then read Gail Mayotte"s reflection given at the Chapter. The sharing that followed  was very hope-filled.

The reading of the scripture texts for the following week-end liturgy is always accompanied with a commentary by Rick and more reflective sharing.

We prayed a decade of the rosary and finished our meeting with a closing prayer.

We scheduled our November meeting for Thursday, November 18th.

September 2021

The Meriden Associates met on September 9th at Pat and Rick's.   Diane was with us.

We will meet again on October 21st.   We're flexible because things happen.

At the meeting, Pat started with a reflection on Offering Our Burdens to God.

I had found it in LIVING FAITH.

Then we shared about being Associates in these changing times.

Then we continued to read the Sunday readings and share commentaries about them and our own input.

Always , a sense of peace and hope when we get together.

Faith Sharing Meeting

February 12, 2020

Rick and I met with Diane on Wednesday and included Sister Muriel in our prayers.

Also had a visitor Pat Billings.  She was a Pioneer at Petersham.  1st graduating class.

Her maiden name was Pat Mongrain.  She has always lived in Meriden and we know her from church.

Her question was why the Associates never contacted graduates about the Associates.

She brought her yearbook which Diane enjoyed looking at and also a very interesting booklet on the history of the sisters.  We're hoping she will join us again.

Love, Pat Babineau
